Resources for Parents

Introduction to Resources for Parents

NAPCSE provides its members with an extensive resource library of sites and topics that have been identified by special education teachers as being the most relevant issues faced in the field (i.e. setting up your classroom, classroom management, assistive technology, high stakes testing, IEP development, learning styles assessment, terminology).  This NAPCSE database is one of the largest sources of information on special education in the United States.  It is an invaluable resource and is updated daily by NAPCSE, to ensure that the websites are both current and relevant to teachers of exceptional children.

In addition to the resources described above NAPCSE has introduced a new feature for Members and all other site visitors. The NAPCSE Professional Directory can help parents and other advocates find the professional services they may seek in an easy to use format. Additionally the NAPCSE Professional Directory has been created to allow professionals who serve the special education community a method to communicate directly to parents with children in special education and introduce themselves and the services they provide.

If you are a professional who would like to add your information to the NAPCSE Professional Directory email us at contact@napcse.org.
